Welcome to Stick Women, where a couple (sometimes more) of Alberta moms post about the crafts we make for fun and profit. We are periodic vendors at our local Farmers Market and we just set up a Zibbet shop online where we plan to sell some of our handmade gifts when we're not at market. We've also got a Facebook page, so drop on by!
We’ve got a table for this week’s market, and we’ve been working on some new gifts for mommies and babes. We’re going to have beautifully sewn car seat covers and nursing covers for modest mommies, cushy crocheted ballet flat-style slippers in pretty colours and crocheted ponchos for toddlers with style. We’ll also have some of my WireMySoul jewelry line there and a few jars of decadent homemade peppermint scented foot and body balm. This stuff is great to use daily to keep that early summer pedicure looking soft and fresh without harsh chemicals, dyes or preservatives.
Hey look, Cynthia posted a sneak peek picture on FB a few days ago, of a flower she's working on. If you missed it, check this out.
Look at that colour, huh? Gorgeous.
And here’s my latest project for this week’s market table. It’s a sneak peek, so I won’t tell you what it’s going to be just yet. I just hope I can get it done in time!
Hope to see you at the market! Check back here or on Facebook to find out as soon as our shop is stocked. We have lots of pictures to take of our products before we get there, so it’s going to be a fun summer!
